Rodney Faraon


Rodney Faraon is a partner with Crumpton Ventures. In addition to providing strategic advice to portfolio companies, he sources and assesses investment opportunities, leveraging more than two decades as an intelligence professional in the public and private sectors to find unique, creative value in disruptive technologies.

Rodney is also a partner at Crumpton Group and founder of its business intelligence consulting practice. Prior to CG, he headed The Walt Disney Company’s Global Intelligence practice, supporting every line of business including ABC / ESPN, theme parks, cruise lines, resorts, studio entertainment, and consumer products.

Before Disney, Rodney served at home and abroad for 15 years as a leader and senior analyst at the Central Intelligence Agency. He was on the President’s Daily Briefing team for two administrations as briefer to and speechwriter for Director of Central Intelligence (DCI) George J. Tenet, a role for which he was awarded the Director’s Medal, the DCI’s highest personal decoration.

Rodney graduated magna cum laude from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service. He is on the Board of Advisors of the Reves Center for International Studies at the College of William and Mary. He is a member of the Producers’ Guild of America and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
