Plato Systems is building a next generation computer vision system to empower businesses with spatial intelligence. Plato’s product utilizes two visible light cameras, radar, and machine learning to:

i) Accurately identify objects (i.e., people vs. animals); and

ii) To identify and track geospatial coordinates of objects.

Potential operating metrics Plato’s system can track include unsafe behavior patterns, near misses, equipment utilization, non-productive time and idle time.

Amin Arbabian
Co-Founder
Amin is an associate professor of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University. Outside of summer internships at Qualcomm and Tagarray, Amin went straight from Berkeley PhD to Stanford. Amin took a sabbatical, prior to making tenure, to found Plato.

Kia Amiri
Co-Founder
Kia is a career product manager. He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Rice University. Prior to co-founding Plato, Kia has held product roles at Microsoft (Program Manager), Box (Product Lead, Enterprise & Security) and Uber (Head of Product, UberEats Marketplace.
